At the GSC, a large part of our work involves education and outreach. We are recognized locally, nationally, and internationally as a resource center on grief and loss. Our staff regularly provides consultations, education, training programs and keynote addresses to medical institutions, hospice programs, physicians, police and EMS departments, volunteer programs, chaplains, clergy, nursing homes, funeral home personnel, school districts, organizations and communities.

The training programs we provide range in length from as short as 30 minutes to as long as 2 days, and many are offered as some form of continuing education. Each of our programs is tailored to suit the needs of the specific group or organization to which we are presenting. Participants leave with knowledge, new skills, and the information needed to put what they have learned into practice.
