Volunteer Opportunities
Using Your Experience to Help Others Deal with Loss
People who have experienced the death of a loved one have a deep understanding of the grieving process, and are able to help others experiencing loss. That is why volunteers play an important role in GSC programs.
Anyone who has experienced a loss and is interested in becoming a GSC volunteer should call the Center at 218-786-4098. All volunteers must complete the Grief Support Center Volunteer Training Program and SMDC Volunteer Training Orientation.
Volunteer opportunities at the GSC include the Person-To-Person program and special projects.
