A new kind of home care...

Just as with house calls of the past, St. Mary’s Home Health will come to your door and provide warm, individualized care right in the comfort of your own home. But the care we can provide is even better than old-fashioned house calls, because we bring with us the expertise and specialization of modern health care. Our home visits are done by highly-skilled specialists — Nurses, Therapists or our Social Worker. We can serve clients who require acute care.  We are the only agency to provide skilled pediatric nursing care and therapy.

Our services begin with a thorough intake and assessment process. Services must be medically necessary with a doctor’s prescription (which we can help you get), but beyond that requirement, we will work with you, your family and your doctor to identify and deliver the individualized services you need.  We also will help you investigate your insurance coverage.  We provide initial service within 24–48 hours after intake, or as ordered by a physician. After that, we offer a Registered Nurse on call 24/7.

• Pediatric therapy related to sensory integration, speech, feeding, and movement

• Wound care management and teaching
• Infusion therapy management and teaching
• Memory or vision assessments and treatments
• Home safety assessment and treatment
• Mobility management, transfer training, and equipment assessment
• Nursing and therapy related to conditions such as Multiple Sclerosis, Cerebral Palsy, Parkinson’s, ALS, Muscular Dystrophy, and many others;
• Dietary and tube-feeding management
• Advocacy and referral to community and financial services
