Hospice Care

The St. Mary's Hospice and Palliative Care Program was established in 1991 and provides home-based hospice care by fully certified and licensed staff to residents of Duluth/Superior and surrounding areas.

As the main administrative office, the program provides the patient care for Solvay Hospice House in Duluth, a residential hospice that opened in 2007. Two branch offices offer full hospice services to the Northland region; they are located in Virginia (East Range Team) and in Grand Rapids (Itasca Team).
