Pediatric Hospitalists

As part of SMDC Health System's commitment to providing the best pediatric care in the region, we have two Pediatric Hospitalists based full-time at St. Mary's Children's Hospital.

These pediatricians have three years of pediatric residency training and they specialize in the care of hospitalized children. Having these skilled pediatricians available full time and focused solely on hospitalized children increases the quality and timeliness of care. The Pediatric Hospitalists work closely with your primary care physician. They communicate regularly so that the care your child receives is consistent.
